„We has some time in Düsseldorf ahead of our river cruise, so we wanted to find a fun tour that helped us get to know the city and its people better. This was it. Anja is wonderful. You can tell she actually loves this city and isn’t just running through a script. Her communication ahead of time was amazing, and she asked what we were into, then shaped the whole tour around us. We started with a little walk, then a visit to Carlsplatz market, which was buzzing even in the rain. I ended up buying some licorice that I’m now rationing because I know I won’t find it again at home. So. Good. (We ended up coming back for a great lunch.) From there we wandered into the old town and learned a surprising amount about Düsseldorf mustard along the way. We tasted a few varieties of mustard, and they were a world away from the yellow stuff back home. Then, we popped into a brewery for some proper Alt beer, served along with pickled eggs. It was actually delicious. Anja explained the whole egg prep process, which required vinegar, oil, salt and pepper, and, of course, mustard. Hearing her explain the whole process, was one of those small, weirdly memorable moments you get with great guides. We also visited a shop for tea and sweets, which were out of this world. A cool French pastry shop that was full in the middle of the day. Book this tour. It’s amazing.“

„Anja’s tour was the second guided tour of Düsseldorf that I had experienced. The first was perfectly competent and adequate in every way; however, Anja’s tour was a fascinating and wonderful experience. Anja speaks excellent English with only a slight accent so she is very easy to understand. Her knowledge of Düsseldorf is extensive and she adds in many minor details, folklore etc. that are unlikely to be in any history book but are fascinating to hear. Anja also has a wonderful sense of humour and she kept a smile on our faces for the whole tour. I cannot recommend Anja highly enough. Well done Anja! I was returning from the IDS Koln trade fair on a business trip with a customer and was spending the day in Dusseldorf. It was very important for me to show my customer a great cultural experience in Dusseldorf. We did a 4 hour walking city tour with Anja and we were both very pleased. Anja has an excellent way of designing the tour for our interests. Just the right balance of contemporary and historic sights and stories. Thank you Anja for a wonderful walking tour in Dusseldorf on Sunday the 27th September. We learnt a lot about the city and were taken to some excellent places.
